Ludlow
This sweeping scene captures the market town of Ludlow, in Shropshire.
From the ancient Dinham Bridge and Millennium Green in the foreground through to the 11th century castle and iconic market place this illustration features the many historic buildings, independent shops and narrow streets that make this town so picturesque. The town has nearly 500 listed buildings including the largest parish church in the county, St Lawrences, which can be seen in the rear ground. In the far distance Titterstone and the Brown Clee can be seen fading into the hazy summer light.
